Circle Z Corn and Shrimp Soup

Creamy and full of coastal comfort, this shrimp and corn soup is loaded with garden herbs and bold Circle Z seasoning.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

  • 2 ears fresh corn, husked

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped

  • 1 bunch parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp garlic, chopped

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp Circle Z Seasoning

  • 1/2 cup Circle Z Gravy and Stew Mix

  • 2 cans creamed corn

  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes

  • 3 quarts water or shrimp stock

  • 2 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined

Instructions:

  1. In an 8-quart pot, melt butter and sauté onions, green onions, parsley, and garlic until translucent.

  2. Cut corn off the cob; reserve both cobs and kernels.

  3. Stir in Worcestershire, Circle Z Seasoning, and Gravy Mix.

  4. Add creamed corn, Rotel, corn kernels, and cobs. Pour in water or stock.

  5. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add shrimp and cook 10 minutes more.

  6. Remove cobs before serving. Serve with: Saltine crackers or buttered French bread.
